Decorating Flip Flops

Has anyone done this before?  I was thinking of getting a cheap pair of Old Navy flip flops for the wedding and decorating them with some ribbon and bling.  I was wondering what adhesive to use.  Any ideas?  Thanks!!

E6000 glue works the best.  But be careful, it'll eat through paper plates!  I used about 4 paper plates just to be safe
