I've been printing a lot of my printer today between designing menus and place cards and other stuff for chocolate parties...and it is making the WORST noise all of a sudden.  UHOH.  I do not have the budget for a new printer.  And this one was free and it's doing a decent job... please cross your fingers, because a dead printer is not what I need right now!

Maybe stop using it for a few hours?   Printers have a lot of moving parts; moving parts get hot; letting it cool down may be all it needs.  I don't know anything about printers, just an idea!

Can you tell i'm in panic mode?? LOL..who asks for thoughts and prayers for their printer?!?!  Happy to report I am giving the printer a break .

I second giving it a break - especially if you're feeding thicker cardstock through it and it's an older model.  Home printers just weren't made to handle 140 pieces of cardstock in a row.

Lots of printer vibes!  LOL!  I completely understand your panic, I would die without my computer/printer.
