Like every other one of these posts... Definitely WOULD do a destination wedding again! The people who really matter will make it and having a few days to spend with those people vs the usually 5 hour affair. We really had the time to enjoy with our guests and not only did we love having that, they loved it as well. How often do you get to travel and explore a new setting with your closest family and friends.
I would def would also splurge on my photographer again. She was a little over what we orig wanted to spend but she was AMAZING! so easy to work with and from the raw pics I got to preview I know I'm going to absolutely love her finished product! I'd highly recommend Misha Earle for anyone getting married in Jamaica!
I would plan meticulously and know what we want and stick to it. Don't be bullied by friends, family, or anyone else's ideas. I printed out pics of my ideas for the coordinator and stylists, and had everything sorted for them come the day. It made it seamless and although I'm positive it still would've come out beautiful, it was nice to see everything we envisioned right before us. I even printed pis for the photographer so she knew some of my must haves and the style I like.
I would spend a little extra on the welcome bags. I went a little crazy and added custom tee shirts in the bag for each guest and although it doubled the total cost of each bag, everyone loved them and it was fun seeing everyone wear them during the excursion and throughout their stay. I loved putting the bags together and made sure there were only things that people may need and could def use within, they came out great and were more than appreciated!

There really isn't anything I wouldn't do! I'd like to say I wouldn't stress over the things that can't be controlled but that's unrealistic and I can't even pretend to lie and say that wouldn't happen! Lol
