So FI and I were talking last night, we are having a VERY kid friendly reception. We are doing a buffet dinner, with a seperate kids buffet (pizza, chicken fingers, that kinda thing). Also at the reception there will be a corner with toys, colouring station (table with butcher's paper over it), etc.
We are inviting 30 kids aged 6 and under.
We were debating last night the idea of paying babysitters (2 or 3 pending how many RSVP yes) at that kid station. We figure this way parents aren't going ot have to worry about their kids when they are over there, they know that someone will be keeping them occupied.
Thoughts? Good idea? Bad idea?
Its just barely under a year until our wedding so this is obviously just brainstorming at this point.
Oh, almost forgot to add, our Wedding Coordinator (who I LOVE and have nothing but the best to say about) grew up in that area, and has 2 sons, so we would get her recommendation for local babysitters rather than blind hiring in an area don't live.
