Khaki suits

I am trying to convince FI that a khaki suit would look ab-fab at the wedding but it's not working out so well. He's convinced he will look like Miami Vice. Could you guys show me pics of your FI/Husband's khaki suits and possibly links to where you purchased them? If I could just get him to try one on or even see how nice they look... Thanks girls!

Hi Shelby, I had to do the same thing with my FI. My dress is kinda dressier and I didn't want to feel overdressed for my own wedding so I told him he was wearing a tan suit. We found his suit at Kohl's (suprisingly) which is a cotton/linen blend making it really light weight so he won't be too warm. We aren't getting married until next summer, but if you need an example google Tuxedo Junction Hampton Wedding Suit. We are going to have our groomsmen wear tan pants and white button downs. So after pictures my FI can remove his jacket and be wearing the same thing as his guys.

Check out JCrew. They also have great linen suits in navy, which is what we're doing.

BWAHAHA Janna I had the exact same problem with my FI!! Only he was convinced he would look like Robin Williams from the Birdcage. So then I was looking around at black & navy suits and he's all like "I never said I wanted a dark suit" so I'm like "well then what exactly are you planning to wear?" Apparently he wants a dark khaki suit, not a light khaki suit. Holy lord. Freaking men. As for where to get them, I have no idea. I think that is going to be our most difficult WR task, because there is only one tux rental place in this town, and no suit shops. I did find a pretty rocking picture of a hot guy in a khaki suit though. It's on my home computer so I'll try to remember to forward it to you tonight.

I am having the same issue! My fiance told me he wants to wear his Flyers jersey and a pair of khaki shorts to our destination wedding in Jamaica. Ha ha! Uhhh....no. He'll be wearing the suit I buy him but I am having a hard time finding a light weight linen/khaki suit for him and his best man. I know J Crew is nice but I don't like how tight fitting they are.

I thought I'd have the same issue, but when FI saw it in person...he didn't fight it!  You can check in my planning bio.  I got the entire suit for $130 at kohls!
