Hi everyone!  I am a May '09 Knottie, but my cousin is planning to have a destination wedding next summer in Jamaica.  Does anyone have any suggestions on great resorts for this?  I know Sandals always receives rave reviews, but was just wondering if there are any others to consider.Thanks!

My cousin just came back from Montego Bay..well, in May for their honeymoon. She went to a resort, but I can't remember which one.She said it was o.k., but they will never do inclusive again because they couldn't wander off to other areas of Jamaica without the expense of a taxi that costs outrageous amounts and plus there wasn't much to do after the sun went down...(that was crazy to here)

Hi, I'm Jamaica bride too.  I've been to Jamaica twice before and it is my favorite island.  My wedding is at The Grand Palladium.  It's between Montego Bay and Negril.  After a lot of research this AI was the best fit for us.  Please let me know if you have any questions.

I am a Riu Ocho Rios bride.  We were going to go to Riu Mo-Bay, but we got our suite at ROR for a lot cheaper, and I want to do Dunn River Falls, so it is closer to the resort.

If you aren't going for AI resorts, I recommend Tensing Pen in Negril!

I'm doing Sandals Grande in April 2010 because my TA said they were best at weddings, but I've stayed at the Riu 3 times and it's beautiful too. I've heard Negril is perfect, but I won't be able to tell you until after my honeymoon. I've done 75% of my planning so if you need anything let me know and I will help you!

We're marrying in a little more than a week (!!) at Couples Swept Away in Negril. As the name implies, it's all about couples and romance. They have wedding packages from complimentary to all-out. We can't wait!!

My brother and his wife were married at Couples Swept Away in Negril a few years ago and they did a great job.  They went there because my sister-in-law's older sister got married there too.There were about 40 of us who went and we stayed various lengths of time, but the food was good, the resort was beautiful, and they did a nice job with the ceremony, which was on the beach.  My brother said they made it very low stress and took care of everything.Christie

I recently got married at Tensing Pen too.  If she is looking for something smaller and more private, I highly recommend looking into it.
