Good morning :)I'm looking for some insider info on the Grand Palladium. Up until very recently, I thought all of our guests would be 16+ --- but FSIL wants to bring 3 year old (and has another due in March), so I'm starting over the reesort search.I stumbed upon Grand Palladium. However, of all the travel agents I've talked to, not one has brought up this place. Reviews on tripadvisor.com look great and the resort looks beautiful! Plus - I see prices are relatively low (I definitely have a budget) for an AI. Can you tell me why you chose this place? Also, what do wedding packages run? I can find the packages, but not the prices. TIA!

    Finding a place can be so frustrasting!  I think most TAs don't know a lot about it because it's only a year old.  I was looking for a place that aloud children because lots of my friends of small kids but I didn't want anything super family oriented.  Turns out everyone is leaving their kids home ;).  The Grand Palladium has an adults only side and a family side.  All of the facilities are shared with the exception of one beach and a pool that are adults only.  But at least your room is in a building of only adults (no screaming kids!).  The Lady Hamilton is the adult side.  Keep in mind it is not in Montego Bay which could be good or bad.  It's in a more secluded part of the island called Lucea.  Good - quiet, no airport noice, Bad - 1hr ride from the airport on crappy roads, hard to get anywhere.  I don't think the bads are bad at all.  Ocho Rios for example can take 2 1/2 to get to from the airport.  IMO that's way too far since most of my guests are only staying a few days.  What's your email, I'll send you the wedding package info I have and answer any questions.  This is becoming a novel!
