Dress size ordering???

So I found my dress.  I ordered it on Saturday.  But my mom called yesterday and put a bug in my ear and now I'm thinking I should call back and order down a size.  The dress fit good, but my mom said she thought it was a little big on me.  Her concern is that if it's a little too big now, if I do loose weight, even just 5-10 pounds it's going to loose the shape of the dress.  It is a corset, so I do have wiggle room in the size I ordered, but I feel like a size down would probably fit me a little better.WWYD?

I ordered my dress too small and now I'm regretting it.  Originally it was 1 size too small, but it was then 2 sizes too small once I got it.  I'm so stressed about not being able to fit into it.  I'm at 1 size too small right now so I need to work my butt off to get into it.  If I were you i'd order it in your size now and just get it taken in.  They can take in the dress up to 2 sizes, but can't let it out 2 sizes.  GL!

Thanks Tracey.. That is great advice, and what I told my mom, but the more I kept thinking about it, I thought about maybe doing 1 size smaller.  But i'll just stick with what i've got.  THanks!!

Sure!  The worst part is I kept putting off my diet and here I am 3 months out with a dress that doesn't fit yet.  One more thing to stress out about!

I agree with Tracy - don't order a smaller dress. There are absolutely NO issues with a dress being too big - you may have to have a last minute fitting - but really that is no big deal. Don't put added stress on yourself to fit into your dress if you get it too small! :-)

Totally agree.  They measured you when you ordered it right?  Because they order the size that fits the biggest part of you (Me - my hippers)  which means they bust will be HUGE because of my tiny boobs. They can ALWAYS take a dress in more, but not necessarily out.  Save the stress

I agree w/ everyone. Just order it the size you are now. Especially since it's a corset back, which can be cinched tighter if you lose weight. Or you can always have it taken in, which isn't all that difficult normally.
