Cookie favors PIP

I was going to order Grandma LuLu's cookies, but then, while working on this weekend's wedding, I thought since I'm making these, maybe I should just go with these for both of our AHR's......  the problem is... although I LOVE LOVE LOVE making them, do I really want to do it for myself?!?!?  What do you guys think?  Should I not take the "stress" of doing it or should I take the easy way and just buy something instead????[img]http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b269/shellib/bagcookies.jpg[/img]

Morning Shelli! I think only you can answer - if I had that skill I would totally do it myself - but hard to think about baking alll day and then doing even more for you. If you don't want to, and it's in you budget, buy them - but will they be as GOOD as yours?? In short, I have no idea I thought about baking tropical shaped sugar cookies, and then thought it would such a PITA to bring them all the way to mexico without them breaking and such. How are you getting them there?

They are adorable!If I had found a sand dollar cookie cutter i would have made mine, but I don't think they would have tasted as yummy as GrandMa Lu Lu's.But you are a baker, you could do it! How many would you have to make?

My decision is mostly based on cost! If its an outrageous price to have them made for me, I'm just going to do it myself! (And hope I can handle an entire day of baking lol)

Nat ~ I would have to seriously make a butt load of them!  I'd say no less than 150 at each AHR.  The cost is not so much a factor ~ although it would be much more expensive to buy them than for me to make them!    I have all of the necessary supplies......And transporting them to Minnesota is the only problem I foresee.  Unless I take my stuff to Minnesota and bake them there. But then THAT would stress me out!  I suppose I have 9 months before the 1st AHR to decide so........
