  • Hello!   I don't post very often...but I'm a Key West bride too!  3-21-10 a week after you!How are things coming along for you?  I just realized today its exactly 7 months for me!!!!  I better get moving on stuff....
  • HI!!  Sorry I've been MIA.  There's been so much going on, I've had no fun/free time for the internet.   99 days to go for me :)   Where did August go?
  • What!  I have a date AND location twin?!  ::Waves::  Hi!!
    Anniversary
  • me tooooo! sorry i always forget this board :( i should deff come one more often! what vendors are you using?!
  • I'm a Key West Bride, too!  Our wedding party (about 20) is coming in on a cruise ship on August 6, 2010, but that's all we have booked so far.  Since our ceremony and reception are going to be in the late morning/early afternoon, I was talking to some resorts and a restaurant with a garden.  And I think I'm going to order a cake from Croissants de France. Also, does anybody have recommendations for photographers?  I wanted somebody with a contemporary style.
  • im using john hunter! but studio julie is amazing but $$$! but i think so worth it if i had the money!
  • Hiiii Key West ladies!! 32 days to go for us :) So much to do, so little time! We are also using John Hunter for photography, very excited!! Kind of nervous about the weather with the hurricanes beginning to swirl around. Our ceremony is at Southernmost on the Beach and we have a private dinner scheduled after at Cafe Marquesa. Anyone using hair extensions and know a good place to buy them online?
  • Hello Ladies! I'm getting married in Key West on October 17th at the Hyatt. I'm in the process of booking my florist (a little late) and I need suggestions. This is the only thing I've been indecisive about, and one of the lower items on my budgeting list. I want to do a table scape on each table. Anyone have any florists suggestions. I was just in Key West last weekend, the weather was sunny and the skies were clear! I <3 Key West!!ThanksSophia
  • I used JHunter Photography and it was the best decision ever. I looked at a few different photogs in KW but none of the others that marketed themselves as "photo journalistic" were anything even close. I was very disapointed to see that some were actually using all sorts of extra equipement and posing every single moment. For flowers I used Mama Flowers. Probably the most expensive on the island but I got exactly what I wanted and they were absolutely a pleasure to work with. To be honest, Fleur Jolie wasn't in existance when I planned my wedding but I have since heard ALOT about them.... none of it good. Not to mention the name of the company is incorrect French.
  • Newly engaged (monday) and this is my first post on The Knot. We are getting married November 27th at The Hemingway House and renting a 3 bedroom home with a pool for the long weekend. It is a very small event...and we are looking for a nice restaurant for the "reception" dinner. I am thinking Louie's Backyard. Anyone heard anything about Christy Tangiers (sp?)? She is a photographer. It is a lot of fast and furious planning...but we aren't worrying about invitations, showers, and all that stuff. Just a small family fun weekend!

  • Chritsy Transier. I heard about her when I was planning my wedding but she wasn't someone I was considering. She has been around a while from what I have heard but I have never heard anything about her that was either really great or really bad. Sorry I don't know if that helps.
