Parents' gifts...need ideas

Both my parents and FI's parents have been very crucial to our wedding planning. I would like to get them something they can use. I am a practical gift giver.

I think it's natmcb is giving their parents and ils a picture frame with the invite and with a wedding photo. I *think* it is in her bio. In the mean time they have a cute little drawing where the photo will go. Maybe you could do a three pic frame: engagement, invite(std), wedding? I think we will use this for our gifts. Our parents don't have many pictures of us though.

We bought our parents digital picture frames. After the wedding we will upload all of our wedding pics onto the frames and give them to our parents.

Were doing frames too... one side we printed a poem over a picture of the chapel, and on the other side we have a filler picture... I am hoping to get them finished today so I may have an example to show you soon... :-)

Julie, if you are thinking of something besides photo frames and want them to be personal and practical, could it be something that relates to hobbies or interests your parent have? I know this is vague, but say one set of parents enjoys bird watching, perhaps 2 pairs of binoculars and a bird watching book, or a picnic set? A pair of tickets to a sports game or concert? Umm...trying to think of other ideas...realizing the bird watching idea was totally random haha. I guess what I'm trying to say is think of what hobbies the sets of parents like to do together and find something that will help them enjoy that hobby. Um, yeah. Good luck!
