This isn't really a wedding event check, but it's a big life planning check. So, I have to sell my house, and in order to do that I have to have new windows because mine are old and yucky. Well, new window shopping sucks and it's so expensive. It was going to be over $5,000! I've been so stressed about it because I can't move to be with my fi when we get married unless we sell this house. We just can't afford two house payments. Well, I got lucky. My Uncle and cousin felt bad for me and they came this weekend as a surprise to me and installed all new windows in my house. He is a contractor and builds schools. My Dad went to Lowes and bought the windows for me and my Uncle did all the work. I've been out of town and didn't know what they were doing till yesterday! I'm so happy. I have to pay my Dad back when I sell the house ($2,000), but my Uncle did the labor for me as a wedding present. How nice is that?!!! So now all I have to do are a few small things to the yard and it can go on the market! This is a huge check for us! It's all coming together, Yeah!
