I am finally getting around to starting my paper on postpartum depression, and decided to do it on the Melanie Blocker Stokes MOTHERS Act. It passed in the house and lacks few votes in the senate It is going to give a mandatory testing for PPD before parents leave the hospital it also provides educations, research, and support for women who suffer from it. I am amazed at how much I didn't know about Post Partum Depression, not only becuase I don't have kids, but I have never been in contact with it. I absolutly love my Maternaty rotation, and LOVE the neonatal intensive care unit! Just thought some of you may be intrested in this subject..... Hope everyone had a great day!
