Hi Danielle,I just noticed that you are getting marry in PC at Melia. That's where we are staying at. What are you doing for the ceremony and reception? Are you having them both at the Melia? We're undecided about the ceremony but the reception will be at the Jellyfish Restaurant. How is the service at Melia with the WC? I haven't contacted anyone yet because I feel as if it's too early still. When did you book the resort? Sorry for all the questions.Also I noticed that you live in PA, What part? I'm from a small city, Allentown.

Hi Pam! We are getting married at Melia (we currently have the basic free wedding pkg booked, and will decide closer to the wedding whether we need to upgrade to a bigger pkg or just do a la carte add on) and then our reception is going to be on La Barcaza Wedding Boat cruise!  I'm really excited about La Barcaza!!!  It's a 3hr dinner cruise, the boat is equipped with sound system and a dance area.  I've seen pics of receptions at Jellyfish and it looks awesome.  As far as I'm aware the new WC that is supposed to be "my WC" is Evelyn Reyes.  I have only spoken to her once via email though- my TA, Elise with BBV, has pretty much taken care of everything with the resort for me- including booking the wedding date/etc.  I'll just warn you, they are on "island time" down there, so you may have to wait awhile for a response.  The other two brides that just got married there in June, Natalie and Lindsey, said she was fine to work with once they got down there (they were working with another WC until about a month before their weddings).  If you're interested in having your wedding off site, La Barcaza does weddings as well...I live in Uniontown, PA.  It's a fairly small city about an hour south of Pittsburgh.  Allentown is towards the middle of the state, right?Let me know if you have any other questions!  I'm more than happy to help!
