I just noticed that you are getting married at Frenchman's! I am too in October. Are you getting married at the gazebo? If you have never been there, the resort is gorgeous! FI and I went to St. Thomas in January for a scouting trip and it was by far our favorite.

Hi! Yes, the Frenchman's Reef...I'm so excited. And I'm thrilled to hear you say it's your favorite. Who is your WC? I'm with Kait, but she's my third WC now! It's crazy, but she seems to be nice so I'm not panicking yet. I was going to get married on the beach, but after talking to knottie Samantha7806 I changed my mind and I'm having the ceremony at the gazebo. What are you doing for music? And are you using BlueGlass Photography? I was told we have to use BlueGlass because the hotel contracts with them or something like that. I actually need to call the WC because I want to do TTD, but I can't do it the same day as the wedding...I don't know if the photog will be able to split a 4 hr session into 2 - 2hr sessions. Anyway, I'm rambling. But, I'm excited to hear all about your wedding once you get back. So please don't be annoyed if I bombard you with questions

I definitely think the gazebo is the way to go. When we were there, there was a wedding on the beach and I wasn't to impressed by it. Everybody sitting on the beach can gather around to watch. The gazebo is more private. Our wedding coordinator is Jess and she is our 3rd too! One of FI's sisters (he has 4) is a photographer so she is doing our pics. We aren't using the one through the Marriott. Have you decided where you are having your reception? We have decided to have ours at Havana Blue which is where Samantha also had hers. Feel free to ask any questions!

I'm going to have a cocktail hour at Havana Blue after the ceremony and then a sit down dinner. It's such a relief to hear from someone who's been there. I felt like I was going into this blind! The DW board has helped ease my mind and now you have too...thanks!My last concern is the photog. Samantha brought one with her too. I wish I had a connection like you two do! I don't get to meet him/her till the day of and what if we don't click? Maybe I can call and talk to them...but, I worry about doing that because in the contract it says we can't contact any vendors or else it a breech of the contract or something like that. Annoying!What are you doing for music? I think I'm gonna take an Ipod and dock it...I don't really want a band or anything like that.
