FI just left for a week long camping trip He of course won't have cell coverage and I hate when he is gone. I have watched one too many CSI crime shows which makes me fairly certain there is always someone outside waiting for me. Joe just makes me feel so safe and I hate that he left Bah, I am crying again. But I will get some more knotting in this week, compared to the last few weeks. Have an excellent day ladies

My FI is an airline pilot so he is basically gone all the time.  Well he was at training for a month in Dallas and I got the bright idea to watch a Criminal Minds marathon since I couldn't sleep.  I was up all night and didn't sleep well the entire time he was gone.  So I've gotta say I understand!  Those shows end up scaring the crap out of me when I'm in this house without my FI.  I'll be on here a lot to so we can chat!  My FI is headed to Germany for 3 weeks.    I hope the week goes by quickly for you!

Thanks for the support. I know there are so many couples that are apart for weeks or months at a time. But we have basically lived together and gone on trips together for 3 years now. It is just so weird being home alone. We do have a roommate, but she won't be home until Monday or Tuesday. I started watching Criminal Minds last Monday, it was a marathon and it's my new favorite show. I love crime shows like that. Numbers is our current series. I swear they have ruined me for ever. I won't run in the mornings now because it's dark when I get up, even if I run on the streets with lights I am always positive someone is following me. They are just such excellent shows I can't get enough

I know that it is hard, but don't worry, it does get easier.  I remember those first few times he was away I was miserable!  Just try not to watch the scary shows when he's away!    And I agree with pp, carry pepper spray!

Roybn, you make me laugh. I moved to downtown PDX about 2 years ago and gave up driving and that is the first thing my mom told me! I don't carry it though, I am more likely to spray myself then the perp! The neighborhood we live in is extremely safe, so I really have nothing to worry about. But I just think my life is a tv show sometimes

Mine is gone every week since 2007! I see between 20-30 hour time frame every 7-10 days! Yuck. I'm so ready to be married and move with him. As for the "someone outside waiting for you" just kick him right in the nads! It always works for me here at work! haha
