Hello all! My FI and I are planning an April 2010 wedding in Ocho Rios Jamaica. We are interested in having our photographer come and take our wedding pics. I understand that Sandals doesn't allow outside photographers, but I was wondering if we could get away with it if we just call her one of our "guests"?

    Natalie just got married at a Sandals resort and I am almost 100% positive she brought her photog and said they were "family". I think I have my story straight at least ;)

    I can't help you with your photog issue, but I wanted to say hi and welcome! Yay! Another April 2010 Bride!! I do belive that that's what most of the Ocho Rios brides do if they bring their own photog. They say she/he's one of their guests! Seems to have worked out for all. Happy planning!

    I do believe lots of people have done that. If they stay at your resort, and are a 'guest', they can't stop your 'guests' from taking photos at your wedding. :)

    I'm getting married in Ocho Rios, Jamaica on April 16, 2010 at the Sandals! I'm bringing my photogs as a guest since they are friends of my family and would probably be coming anyway. I know a lot of girls have done this and it has been fine as long as they are "guest". Let me know if you need anything! I've planned everything except my dress and some of my AHR details. Congrats and welcome.
