Registry Question

I wasn't going to register at all b/c FI and I have been living together for 5 years and bought our house 3 years ago so we don't need to much "stuff". Well my mom emailed me this morning at work saying that people at work are asking her where I'm registered b/c they want to get us something. She doesn't want to tell them to get us gift certificates b/c she thinks it's rude (I totally agree). So I agreed to register. I'm going to do Target and wanted to register and 1 more store. Any suggestions? I was thinking Lowes but they no longer have a registry. Thanks for your help!

Macys? I always think it's nice to give them a more inexpensive store like Target, plus a fancier store like Macys or Crate and Barrel. FWIW, we are registering at Amazon because like you we wanted to register at Home Depot for stuff like light fixtures, bathroom fixtures, etc, but they don't have a registry. So instead what we did is create an Amazon registry which has the "universal registry button" which allows you to add items from other websites to your Amazon registry. So ours has stuff on it from Home Depot, Crate and Barrel, BB&B, Target, etc, plus whatever stuff from Amazon we want. It's pretty cool. But we also made sure to register at an actual "store" for people who refuse to order stuff online. Wow, sorry...that was probably more info than what you were looking for

I registered at Target and Bed Bath and Beyond.  I found that people wanted a pricier option and a cheaper one (depending on who was buying).  But I think Amazon.com is a great idea (I didn't know about that before). BTW I tried on your dress when I was dress shopping!
