The Good (long)

Just about everything! The resort was great, our WC did everything we asked of her. Our photographer, Carlos Melnik was fabulous, so was Ray from Promovision who did our video.  All my little details really stood out for our wedding. Dave loved his book of the b-pics- I was kind of worried that he wouldn’t really like them because he’s not a sentimental picture type person. The sand ceremony worked perfectly and it is safely sitting on our entertainment center, my flowers from AA held up great, the ring clam was a great detail, my blue crinny looked great, and I love my TTD pics with the KK. I’m so glad I did all these little things- it made the day so special. The wedding day flew by- I remember little fleeting moments and how I felt, but it is mostly a blur already. I can’t believe it went so fast.  We were really concerned about rain before the ceremony, but it went South and we had one of the best sunsets we saw the whole trip for our pictures. We talked about the our luck with the weather because originally I wanted to have the wedding at the Dreams Puerto Vallarta, which is on the South end of the bay, but someone booked our date before we got our deposit in. I was really upset about it at the time, but now I feel that it was meant to be at Dreams Villamagna because it POURED on the South part of the bay just before sunset.  The resort staff was fabulous! We had great service from the wait staff and Julio on the entertainment staff was a lot of fun. This was my first trip out of the country, and my first AI stay, so I don’t have others to compare it with but we’re already trying to plan a trip back. We were also trying to find a way to buy one of the beachfront condos while we were there… J Puerto Vallarta is a beautiful place, we had mountains on one side and the ocean on the other, I really miss the view from our room it was breathtaking!  We went on several tours through Vallarta Adventures- so much fun! They are a great company and we loved all of the tours, I promise I’ll put all the pictures up on FB soon.  We went to Las Caletas which was beautiful, we swam with dolphins, we went snorkeling at the Marietas islands, and did an outdoor adventure that involved lots of zip-lining, rappelling down a 100 foot waterfall, and riding mules up the Sierra Madre mountains. (I know- CRAZY!) I think that is it- bottom line- I want to go back!
