Hey there.  I read that your Savannah wedding is no longer a go.  I'm sorry to hear that.  Do you have new plans?

    Thanks!  We've looked at having our wedding at the zoo here at home.  I have everything planned out, budgeted, etc but we haven't booked anything yet.  FI thinks it will cost WAAAY too much and he doesn't want to wait another 2 years before we can afford it.  So I told him we need to make a final decision by this weekend because I hate the not-knowing part and people are starting to ask questions.  Hopefully we can agree on something we both like.  :-)

    Ugggh!  I like the zoo idea.  Have you looked at Beaufort, SC?  It is a beautiful town and I think you would like it there.

    We actually went to visit Beaufort when we were in Savannah 2 years ago.  Didn't realize it was gullah festival time, and still have no idea what a gullah is but we had fun.  lol  The homes were gorgeous and I loved the small town laid-back feel.  Unfortunately, we can't really do any more scouting trips - FI's boss isn't approving any unnecessary days off since they're REALLY short staffed right now.  :-(

    Good luck with your planning!  You should google Gullah.  It's very interesting - the food and language are so much fun.  You know I went to St. Croix and had not seen a thing.  It was a little insane but fun all at the same time.
