Avoiding the forecast...

So I've been avoiding anything & everything weather related to Jamaica...I don't want to know.BUT someone HAS to go and forward me the freakin' forecast for the next 10 days...grrrrrrr.Of course they're calling for scattered thunderstorms every day and the chances go up day by day as we're there....WHY would someone send me that...my nerves were just getting un-frazzled as things were all finally falling into place.Just had to share...because people continue to slay me daily.:::scatter somewhere else...scatter somewhere else:::

  • Jenni - i think every girl who leaves checks the forecast and they always have thunderstorms for any Carribean island (its like their default weather). But then they get there, and maybe get the occasional rain at night. Don't worry - it will work out! :)
  • I promised myself that I wouldn't look at the forecast before my wedding and of course I gave in at the end.  It means nothing!  There was rain forecasted everyday for Antigua and you've seen my pictures.  Do you even detect a dark cloud in the sky?  Of course there will be rain (or liquid sunshine as they say)...but then it's gone within 5 minutes!  You'll have a beautiful day!
  • Ahhhhh...you ladies sure know how to calm a girl down!  You're so right!  And I just got back from obsessing with the weather on every freakin' website I could pull up!  Sometimes I think that people just like to "get my goat"...it usually takes A LOT to get me riled-up and some have learned how to push my buttons lately (and I've got  A LOT of pushable buttons lately ~HA!).So once again...I THANK YOU!!!!
  • Like the other ladies have said, it means nada.  That is the forcast 365 days a year for anything south of Tampa, lol.  I've been to Jamaica twice, most days it poors for 20min in the late afternoon.  Don't worry!
  • It's ok. Don't Worry Mon!!!It will BEAUTIFUL next week while we are there. It will be ok. I too was avoiding the forecast and finally gave in too. Then I started focusing on the % chance of rain. Hehe. Glad to know I'm not the only one. We leave in 6 days!!!! Yay!!
  • Don't sweat it, that's the typical tropical forecast... they should just get rid of weather people for the islands all together and list that as the standard forecast!!! Weather vibes anyways!!!
