A co-worker of mine just had an absolute melt-down. I was scheduled to do a group with her in one room, but an inservice was also scheduled, and the other room was booked. So there was just going to be a ten minute delay on the group until after the inservice. When I went to collect people for group, she had already taken everybody into another room and started an activity with them. So now my group has been cancelled, as well as most of my afternoon, because she couldn't wait an extra ten minutes. The building I work in is under renovations right now, so we're all sick of getting bounced around. But she's acting like it's a personal attack that things didn't go perfectly, and is yelling in front of the residents that no one here cares about them. Really unprofessional IMHO. Just a little ticked here, a big part of our job is being flexible, and she's acting like we did this to piss her off. I think we're all a little frustrated here, just venting. Thanks for listening.
