The wedding photographer never asked me what style of photos I wanted, or any particular shots. When we got to review them on Thursday, out of the the 250 he supposedly took I only found 13 that I was willing to purchase from the wedding. And the only way I was allowed to buy them was in a package. The cheapest package they had was $500 for 30 - 5x7" & 6 - 8x10" pics. I was told I could not purchase individual photos and therefore I didn't purchase any. The photographer was nice enough on the morning of disembarkment to give me 5 photos that he'd printed and didn't charge me but those are the only photos I have right now. I'm really sad I didn't get more photos, but I wasn't going to pay for sh*tty photos. Most of them had a yellow tint to them or the white balance was so off you couldn't see the detailing on my gown. But I guess 5 pictures are better than nothing! I'm hoping that all our guests will post their pictures to our photo sharing site. The photographer friend we had go with us got some amazing shots so I should end up with some good ones later.
