Dress Dilemma - LONG - PIP

I think every bride goes through this right before her wedding, but I'm second guessing my dress :( I can't stop looking at dresses and am forcing myself to not go out and look for samples I can buy (my wedding is now less than 40 days away, so ordering is definitely out of the question). I've also been looking at used sites and am tempted to buy a few dresses that have never been worn... what do you girls think? Part of my problem is my dress hasn't been pressed so I can't get a true feel for what it will actually look like. Plus I never had that OMG feeling. Lastly, I am almost tempted to wear my TTD instead...My dress on the model...My TTD dress on model (but mine's in white)Dress I'm thinking about buying (maybe adding a bubble hem)...

Re: Dress Dilemma - LONG - PIP

• Don't buy another dress!  I agree, every bride goes threw this.  I think your dress is very pretty but I'm not a big fan of pick-ups. However, I LOVE your TTD.  Maybe start with getting the dress pressed and see if that helps.  GL!
• I think your TTD one is GORGEOUS!!! Wow! Such pretty detail. I'm having the opposite problems because I haven't even found ONE dress yet!!!
• Ugh, I had the same problem a few weeks ago... I was convinced I hated my dress, and the wedding is 11/14- too late!!! I never was completed excited about my dress in the first place. Personally, I like your TTD better than the one you are thinking about buying. I don't know what to tell you...maybe take a bunch of pics of yourself in both dresses and decide based on that!?! I know, this is such a hard decision!!!
• I think every bride goes through this, so don't stress.  Don't buy another dress though, you'll regret spending the money later!!!  I think you'll feel differently about your dress once you get it pressed.  If you still like your TTD more, then wear it, but don't make the final decision until you see your dress in its full glory.  Hang in there! p.s. if you decide to sell your TTD post wedding, can I have first dibs on it?
• I like your dress and your TTD dress 100 times better than the one you are considering to buy.Have your dress pressed...it makes a HUGE difference. Part of what I hated my dress was because I never tried it on pressed, plus I was wearing the wrong underwear...and now I love it. Give it another chance and try it on....if you still don't love it, then wear your TTD.
• I have admired your dress so many times, DO NOT go get another one..yours is amazingly beautiful!!  Just breath and count through it..I know I will do through a similar thing..no worries..you will be beautiful!

• I agree with pp's.  Its just nerves and I think a lot of people go through this.  I think you need to get your dress pressed and then see what you think.  I don't think you should get a new dress though.  Your dress is beautiful and your TTD is too.  You have 2 amazing dresses, try them both on and take some pics then sit back and look at them.  I think you will like what you see.

• Honestly I like your dress and your TTD better. I agree with pp, just take lots of pictures with both dress and decide that way. But I really do love both of your dresses. I think you should wear them both, just like you had planned.

• DO NOT CHANGE DRESSES! I adore your dress --- I had dress envy the whole week that it was posted as siggy challenge.I too agree with PP - I personally like your dress and TTD better than the one you are thinking about buying (but of course everyone's preference is different). If you still don't have the OMG feeling after the pressing and such, just go with your TTD - which is lovely as well.

• Your dress is gorgeous! And the dress you're contemplating on buying you want to add a bubble hem which would almost look the same as the dress you have now.  You're dress is beautiful keep it.  If you really can't imagine wearing your first dress on your wedding dress then wear your ttd, it is beautiful as well.
