AW: It's official!

I just put the deposit down for the immediate family for our wedding in St Lucia! Finally no more limbo and I can start to really plan!Any suggestions for the time of day to get married??4:00 is latest we can get married...so wedding4:30 Pictures5:45 30 min cocktail reception6:30 Dinner (Restaurants don't open till 6:30ish)Sunset is at 6:30... so we should have awesome light for pictures... (I think ??)  My key concern is the pictures haha

Looks good except I would do an hour cocktail reception.  What will your family do between like 4:45 - 5:45?  Congrats on a HUGE check!

We are also having a 4:00 ceremony.  I was hoping that it would be late enough in the day that it might be cooler (fingers crossed) but still early enough for pictures (both with light and hopefully a gorgeous sunset!).Congrats on this great check!

This is basically what we did, except we had an hour cocktail reception and things ran a bit late.  I don't think we actually got to the ballroom for dinner until about 7:15.  The only thing about 4:00 is it's so freaking hot!  I still wouldn't have changed it though

Thats great Tiffany! I have no suggestions on the wedding timing, I'm getting married on a Saturday, so the latest they had open was 11am! (they only did 10, 11 and noon)

Thanks guys! I officially booked the 4 pm and once I get into the nitty gritty of planning the day out I'll consider a longer cocktail reception...I wasn't planning on paying too much for the reception there, since we are having a big AHR. I'll weigh the costs though.
