Destination Weddings Discussions

Re: **jenni! Futuremrsmcc**

  • Good!  Sorry yours didn't.  I had this weird bulge above my hips but figured out it was from my bustier so I got a new bra this weekend.  It looks much better however the top seems a little big probably because I've lost 6 lbs and a lot of boob.  I might just stuff my bra a little :) I went by myself and didn't take any pics.  When's your next one?
  • Well that's good news! Did you get to take your dress home?My next appt isn't until Nov 7th! Which makes me nervous b/c we leave the 13th!! I'm too busy next Sat that I couldn't make it for then. boo.I'm thinking I might call today to re-schedule to a date during the week or something b/c the current appt date just makes me so uneasy....what if it's STILL not right??! I don't want to be freaking out DAYS before I'm supposed to leave! On a good note, my civil ceremony dress is done and I took it home. It looks amazing!! It's such a simple dress and I feel it looks so good on. It's perfect for a destination wedding! I love my real dress, but I almost feel like I coulda just gotten away with not spending the $1000 plus $150 in alterations on it and only wear my $100 dress I bought off ebay!! Funny how you feel differently about things after it's all said & done.....Ohwell. I'm wearing the $100 dress for both the civil ceremony and the TTD session. and then I'm wearing my real dress for the sunset ceremony and the AHR. I'm getting wear out of both, so I guess it works.
  • Yes, I brought it home.  It's in the bag with my veil and FI's suit.  All ready to go!  I would be nervous too.  Especially since you don't think they did any changes last time.  At least you have one ready to go!  I get a little sick everytime I think about how much my dress cost plus alterations.  But I'll get to wear it twice.
