First dress shopping excurstion

I'm getting nervous. We are going on our first dress shopping excurstion on friday. Me, my Mom, my sis and my very excited niece. I've been putting it off for months because I'm scared I won't fit right in anything. I know this sounds stupid, but it's true. This is supposed to be fun right???

Dont worry - you'll have a blast!  There's been lots of people who have had the same fear, and I'm pretty sure they've ended up having a great time.  Make sure you've researched the places to make sure they have what you're looking for - and have FUN!! I wish I could do it again

I feel the same way! I even skipped shopping for a college foot ball game. I think I am not meant to have a regular dress either!! It will be super fun if you are with positive people, and maybe you will get some champagne while out and about

Relax and have a great time!  Remember the sample dresses don't fit many.  It takes some imagination whether they're too small or too big.

I'm going Friday too for the first time and I can't wait.  The only thing I'm worried about is that I pretty much have my heart set on one dress I saw online and I don't want to be disappointed if it looks horrible on me so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Jennifer, I felt the exact same way you did. I put it off, thinking nothing would fit right and that the sales people would just try to sell me something fast and rush me out of there. I've been dres shopping twice now, without any luck. But now that I've finally went, I at least know what I like and what I don't like. And while I am stressed that I still haven't found my dress, I know that it's out there somewhere lol. So just have fun and even if you don't find something right away, don't stress about it too much! Let us know how it goes!
