Videoghraper?

Is anyone else having a videographer for their wedding? We promised FILs, since it looks like they won't be able to go due to layoffs that we would get it so they could see the wedding as well. Just wondering who else was doing it?

Re: Videoghraper?

  • I am working with a photographer that also provides videography and I am going to do both.  The resort also does a live video feed of the ceremony over the internet for a fee of $375.
  • We are having the resort's videographer. I didn't really want to but FI insisted because a lot of his family will not be there and he wants to be able to share the DVD with them. The DVD of the ceremony costs $400 and I am nervous that it's not going to be the greatest, but I'm compromising with FI.

  • We did!  There were two videographer options at Moon Palace.  The first one they would record the full ceremony and type up the ceremony.  The second option (which we did and was actually the cheaper option) they would record from the moment our coodinator picked us up from our room, our horse and carriage ride, all of the ceremony, taking pics afterwards.  Basically everything from that afternoon.  They took clips from the day and set them to a song of your choice.  I chose Jason Mraz "Lucky".  It was about 3 minutes long and we absolutely loved it!!  I can't wait to share it with my family - especially my mom :)
  • I am. Our resort has videographers that covers either the entire wedding or just parts of it. I'm picking the one that starts with us getting ready and finishes when we sign the papers.

  • Yes, we've hired someone to come in and video or AHR. They will provide us with 4 hours of coverage and a completed storybook edited dvd. I know I will miss so much, so I insisted on having the video.
  • Tracy, if you are thinking about it, I would defiantly do it. Everyone says it flys by and it so does. It's a great memory to go back and watch and notice things that you maybe forgot, classic moments, etc.
