Love Statue Cake Topper

Another question. I am trying to locate a replica of the Love Statue to use as a cake topper or somewhere on the cake. I have been looking online but can only seem to find paper weights or some other random items. Does anyone know where I might be able to find one? I am living out of town and thought about checking the trouist shops the next time I come to my parents house...

Check out Etsy - I used this seller, and she customized a color for me based on my wedding colors (you can send her whatever you have - a spare invitation, fabric swatch, etc.).  Mine turned out great. Not cheap, but I'm pretty sure these are the ones everyone uses.

Oooh, ooh! If you don't mind using something smaller (I think it was 2" by 2") I found one at one of the tourist shops on South Street for my friend K, who got engaged at LOVE park. It was actually a pencil sharpener! But it had screws to remove the pencil sharpener part and so what you're left with is the LOVE statue. And it was like $6!

Thank you both for the suggestions. I had seen both of those along the way. The etsy one I was drawn to, but was hesitant because of the price. But I will look more into that. The sharpener is really cute, but might be a little small.  But again, i will consider it as it looks so nice on the cake!

these are all great suggestions, thank you!  After meeting with the baker soon, we will have an idea of the size we should be looking for. I am excited to take this ideas to them

I live this idea! And the pencil sharpened is fabulous! Do you remember what store on south st you bought it at? Or at least what cross street?

It was down near 3rd or 2nd St. Also I found them at the airport gift shop when I was there.

If you are trying to do a Philly inspired toper...might I suggest that you purchase the "love" pencil sharpener as well as a liberty bell and a small independance hall figure.  this way you could have it represent Philly but it wouldn't be as small as just the sharpener.   -- I have been looking for the topper also and don't want to spend a much on something I will use once, so that is the option that we have been thinking of.  I am still looking around..... maybe try searching Robert Indiana on Ebay also, they do have some stuff on there.  As a last ditch effort I think I may attempt to make it out of clay.  If I do it I'll be sure to let you know how it turns out.
