I havent seen her in 10 months.   Her name is MY WEDDING DRESS!

This afternoon is my first fitting.   Im really hoping it goes well.   Ive been having nightmares that since they ordered it so big, and I lost so much weight, theyre going to tell me they cant bring it in enough.  Fingers crossed, ladies!!!

None of my girls could get off work today, so Im bringing my bridesman, and my officiant.  LOL.   Ill have them take lots of pics, and try to get some up tonight!

That is so exciting!!! It feels wierd not seeing your dress in 10 months and then finally seeing it again!  I want to see pictures!!

Seamstresses are magic, they will make it look like it was made for you! Don't forget the camera, we want pictures!!

Oh, how exciting!!!!  I just made my first alteration appointment for May 5th, I'm so excited to get the alterations started!  We are making the neckline a sweetheart, have to take in the dress about 4 inches everywhere, and it has to be shortened a lot which may be a bear because of the ruffles on my dress.  I can't wait to see your pics, and I can't wait to hear about your experience - I'm kind of nervous about starting the alterations....  Nervous, but excited!!

so.  fitting went well.   theyre able to sew in the bra, and it needs to be taken in, A LOT.      all in all its better then i remembered, which is awesome cause I was afraid i wasnt going to love it anymore.    

My bridesman, Bill, cried when I came out.   I wouldve had more pics, but he was so verklempt he had issues operating the camera.   

second fitting is in 2 weeks.  Im hoping to have more pics and a better idea of the look then.   I did wear my wedding jewelery though, and i was so happy at how it looked.  

ETA....Ive never been nekkid in front of 2 women before.  nekkid and allowing them to put my bra on, and stuff me in.   Def a different experience, but it was fantastic.   they were so nice, and helpful, and the seamstress is MAGIC!!!!!
