Helloooooo, Ladies! I guess it's afternoon now for some of you, isn't it?

I've got work and the gym today.  Hoping to wrap some presents when I get home tonight.  At the very least, the ones we need to ship. I was planning on doing it yesterday, but then remembered a Christmas party we had to go to. Opps!

Err, afternoon here.

Today I'm going to the gym after work and then coming home to a CLEAN HOUSE. I'm so excited . I can't wait to see how they did. The girl called me early this morning to ask if there was anything in particular I wanted her to focus on. Already a great sign. I can't wait to see how they did. 

I'm officially Mrs. MarriedName with Social Security and I have my new license! I can't change our bank until Steve's back from Qatar since it's a joint account and he has to be there too. So that might not end up happening until next year since we'll need a Saturday morning off together to do it. But I've changed at work, I'm working on Towson, and I'm working on Redskins. Hooray!

Almost afternoon here!

Today should be a decent day... I'm working from home since my son had a fever all night :-(

It looks like I'm getting the position I was talking about last week.  But it hasn't been made official just yet..I have a phone call with someone on that team this afternoon that I'm excited about.  I'm just hoping that it becomes official soon so that I can let my team know that I'm no longer going to manage them and I can have peace of mind for the holidays.

I'm hoping to get some presents wrapped tonight... I can't believe xmas is here in 13 days!  YIKES!

I envy you the cleaning lady Bree.  We talked about getting one in the past but I am so crazy I would probably clean the house first because I wouldn't want her to think I was a slob!

Congratulations on the new job Venus.  Sorry your son is not feeling well.  I hope he is better today.

I am called for Jury duty today so I am not sure how good my day will be.  Great if I am not selected!  My company doesn't pay me if I am so that sucks.  I probably would find it interesting if I didn't have to worry about not getting paid.

It was my son's 18th Birthday yesterday.  His married sisters and their families came over and we went and had a family Christmas tree hunt before coming home to the big family celebration.

I got the kitty I wanted on Saturday.  I had told my FI a little while ago that that is what I wanted for Christmas.  When we went grocery shopping on Saturday there was someone outside the store giving them away so I got to bring one home.  It is very cute.  My granddaughter named it Ariel.  Our dogs aren't too sure about it though.  We have 2 Mini-schnauzers.

rmontpas - Congrats on getting the Kitty! I know it took awhile for FI's dog to adjust to having cats around (I had a cat before our relationship, and FI and I adopted another) but she did eventually

Morning/Afternoon Everyone!!

Today is work then we are going to pick FMIL up to go Christmas shopping with her.  I have to help her shop for FI which is going to be interesting since I don't really know what to get him!!

Jen - I really hope that you get the news today about the job!!

Brea - Yay for changing your name.  I can't wait for that day!!

I packed a sandwich (PB and honey) for lunch last Friday and we ended up getting sandwiches brought in, so I left it in the fridge to eat today and man it was so crusty and not that good. Hah, still edible but definitely not in the ranks for best meal ever. I am stalking my running group because they are announcing who is in the Empire Building Run Up today (random lottery drawing) and I want in!! Fingers crossed…

Hahaha I replied to everyone else but forgot to write something myself...

I am working until 7 and then the cancer support group I attend is having a potluck after that. When I get home I'll send off the addresses for the Christmas cards, meant to yesterday but it became a busy day before I knew it lol

Jen- YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish we could all take you out to celebrate! Hope your son is feeling better.

Rmont- Just tell them that is there's enough evidence to arrest them that they must be guilty and they won't want you. hehe Post pictures of the new kitten!

I Like your suggestion Kimmy!  I should be ok though.  I am just going to tell them I had brain surgery in October and am still recovering.  I think that should be hard to argue with!

Sorry girls I'm late today! Brea~ hope you home is squeaky clean Jen~ so excited for you Kimmy~ how was your party yesterday? Rmontpas~I was on jury duty w/ my sister and we both got picked for the same trial. What an experience. The judge sent us a letter afterwards that it was the first time in out countys history 2 sisters served on the same jury! That was many years ago and I just got a letter to go next month, work pays for only 3 days. Britt~ good luck at the potluck I had my work christmas lunch today. My eyes were rolling and our big boss talked a little on the company that is buying us out. Things should get interesting with my job in the next few months!

Good Evening!

Well for me the countdown is on - 1 work day down, 9 to go until my time off! Big fat check today too - invites are in the mail. Plus I got my butt back to the gym today, after a week of crazyness then a week of sickness I have 3 months now to lose the 20 I want to get rid of.

So jealous of the cleaning lady - I want one!! It takes me hours to clean and when we buy a house it will probably be bigger than where we are living now.

Haven't done any holiday shopping yet......might be put off a bit as we will be buying stuff for our wedding/honeymoon during all the after xmas sales
