Hello everyone (again!),
I want a child-free wedding and reception. I know this brings a lot of mixed opinions but my FI and I are not willing to budge on this subject. This rule will probably only affect a handfull of attendants. Yet, I'm not sure I want to tell my friends they cannot bring their kids at all since most people will be making it a vacation as well.
I'm getting married in a small town in Florida so I am not renting out a block of hotels rooms somewhere. Most people are planning on either renting condos or beach houses in the area.
I was thinking about finding some child care options to put in their invitations so they can look into care for their child for that night. Is this tacky? Since everyone is staying at multiple places in the area, they cannot hire one sitter for the evening. There would need to be multiple options to come to their condo/house. And how would you suggest going about finding child care in the area?
