memorial?

My fiancee's father is deceased along with all 4 of our grandparents on both side. (wow sounds depressing)  I was extremely close with my mom-mom and pop-pop and would like to honor them the lady of our wedding some how.  I definately want to do something special for his dad.  Any ideas?

I have been thinking about this as well.  My FI and I have both lost our fathers and most of our grandparents and we want to honor them at our wedding.  I think we are going to have framed photos of our fathers at church and ask the priest for an opportunity to light a candle at each of their photos.  As for our grandparents, we are putting our framed photos of our parents' and grandparents' wedding photos at the table where place cards will be. 

I hope more people will share ideas.  I am looking for a special way to recognize our loved ones as well.

Does your FI want something special done for his dad?  We had the same scenario, and I felt it best to let DH incorporate his dad into our day however he felt appropriate.  We had a "in loving memory" section on our wedding program, we played a lot of his dad's favorite music, DH's brother paid tribute to their father during his best man toast, and when DH and I got up to thank our guests for coming, he also paid tribute to his father.

We are doing candles and picture frames on a table, likely the place card table. 

His father, my grandparents and my uncle that I was very attached to.

We had a candle lit next to our unity candle that had a description of what it represented. It was also noted in our programs. As much as we wanted to honor our family, we also wanted to make sure this was a celebration, not a memorial service. (I hope that makes sense and doesn't sound mean.)
