Hey guys,
We are having our dream destination wedding in Costa Rica July 2012. We are inviting our family and closest friends (~50). We have scheduled to have a big party when we get home that will take place two weeks after the wedding.
My dilemma:
Is it rude to invite people to the at-home reception that were not invited to the wedding ? And is it rude to invite people that will be in Costa Rica to the at-home reception (making some people travel twice!). It is impossible to have all 250 guests come to Costa Rica, but we want to be able to celebrate with everyone after our wedding. Plus, there are a lot of our family and friends that cannot be in Costa Rica but really want to be apart of the celebration.
Is anyone else doing something similar ? How are you doing the invitations ? Will you do the traditional reception stuff at both events or just one ?
