We have been toying with 2 ideas. I kinda wanted to throw a third one out there.
1) the beach..the beaches are stunning and he wants to marry there.
2) vinyard..another great idea from him, I'd like to do it at the one where the wine with cheetas on the bottle is made. or goats do roam.
3) Gods window..This one I would like to suggest but it's really touchy. It's where my FI moms ashes are spread. (she died when he was 6)
Do you think that would be too touchy to seggest? I'm just really sentimental (as you saw with the dates thing) and I think it would be a way for him to have one parent "there" since he is not on speaking terms with his dad.
so what do you think? go there or leave it alone??

I love all three ideas!!!  The third option is really nice that I would give it as an option to him..he may not have thought about that and he may really really love that!

if he says no, then just drop it and forget you asked!

I would bring it up to him casually and see what he says.  He may really like the idea of having his mom there.

I understand though because it's a super touchy subject with FI bringing his dad's ashes with us to spread in Hawaii.  He loved going scuba diving there, so we said we would do it when it go.  Should be interesting.

I think that sounds sweet. Guys will surprise you. FI is really excited about us getting married in Hawaii because that's his mom's deceased ex-husband's favorite place in the world. He was a huge fan of him, and he thinks that makes it extra special.

I think no matter which you choose, all three places will be wonderful!

I too would bring it up....  I think the thought of you wanting to do that for him is beautiful.

God's window sounds amazing, I remember it from the bachelor! Seriously, I just google imaged it again to remind myself and it's beautiful!! I think that it would make the wedding even more special and sentimental having his mother "there" with you guys. I love the idea, a lot.

They all sound great!  I actually think the God's window sounds like it'd be very special ... but I would understand if he didn't want to do it.
