Hey ladies- Happy Monday!
Idk if I updated you all with news of the planning trip, but Thursday I had kind of a one-on-one talk with my boss about taking off work/my planning trip and it's definitely not going to happen. I told him how the refundable tickets are just too expensive and he was talking about how "he hates telling people no they can't have off" and how he "knows my co worker is trying to take off in November also," but he just doesn't know what's going to happen with those proposals. SO frustrating! And to make it worse, I was saying how I would like the proposals to come out soon so I can get my planning in order and he was like "yea I'm kinda half and half. It's like I want them to come out, but I don't" because we're going to be really busy and have a lot of work. Ugh. I very much feel like the world at this company revolves around what the big-shot men want. Or maybe I'm just angry and saying that...regardless..no planning trip until further notice 
(or when I can get off work) which means no other wedding planning really since I won't sign a contract or pay for anything until I see the place.
