Hi ladies!!!  Just got back from an unreal weekend!  I can't wait to tell you all about it... I've been making mental notes of every tid bit that I want to share with you in regards to advice!  Obvi, more to come on all that. 

There's one thing I will tell you all right now that was my favorite thing we did that is an absolute must!!!!  We arrived one day before anyone else did and spent it with just the two of us - no wedding talk whatsoever!  It was one of the best days of my life that I will cherish forever.  As crazy as these last few months have been with wedding planning, work, etc, I've felt a little disconnected.  Doing this together really reminded me why we are getting married.  It was amazing!  If it's not in the budget, have a date night at home before you leave - do something fun, and no wedding talk!!

And thanks for the advice We are building in a day before everyone else arrives (our parents and some guests are coming in on Thursday) so we can do this! I'm glad it's well worth it

Also, absolutely, great advice.  DH and I didn't have a day, but we ditched everyone for dinner the night before the rehearsal/welcome day, and it was perfect.  All of the excitement and none of the pressures!

Thanks for the great advice!  Since I'm travelling with my mom and kids we won't really have a free day alone and I'm bummed about it...  BUT I will definitely take your advice and plan a date night (with NO wedding talk) right before we leave

We are flying in two days before everyone else and have a full day planned just for ourselves the day before everyone else shows. Going to take a boat out to Molokini and go snorkeling. It really is a good idea to have that time with just the two of you.

We were 'planning' to be in Key West a day before everyone, but it appears that most people who have booked their hotels had other ideas about that..haha!  However, we are flying into Ft Lauderdale and driving down, so I figure we will take advantage of that drive down together and maybe make some fun stops along the way for lunch!
