Assistant Community Manager at a luxury apartment community in Chapel Hill, NC

I always hate this question because I honestly have NO clue what I want to do. I know it's not in the industry that I'm currently in. I really liked the medical field, but I'd also want to put my degree to good use...
9. How did you and your fiance' meet?
We are high school sweet hearts, only...we went to rival high schools 
My middle school BFF's sister was dating Brian's BFF at the time. We started talking on AIM in the summer of 2002 and Brian had a thing for my BFF. Well, as we kept talking he got his mind off her and it came to me. We met face to face (after many phone hours!) at our school's football game November of 2002. We didn't see each other again until February 2003 at a basketball game (I almost threw up on him because I was nervous/hungry and I danced at half time). He asked me out, but we didn't consistently start dating until April 2003.
10. When did you get engaged, and how did he do it??
I have NO idea how he pulled this off. He's not much of a guy for surprises! We picked out my diamond together and then I picked a few settings that I liked and left it all up to him. We decided to plan a trip to Myrtle Beach (one of our favorite places) for a long weekend. We got there on Friday afternoon. We went and ate dinner at Senor Frogs then went back to the hotel to walk on the beach. We went to the room first so I could change my shoes and I was ready to walk out with no phone or camera and Brian goes "Don't you want to take your phone? What if you want to take a picture of something?" I didn't think anything of it because I had been drinking at dinner We walked on the beach and on the way back to the hotel, he threw his flip flops down and asked me to marry him 
I naturally said yes and then fire works started going off He totally did not do that, but it was perfect!

12. Where is the ceremony and reception?
Cancun, Mexico at the Cancun Palace. We are having ceremony and reception there--no AHR!
13. What are your wedding colors?
Hot Pink and Bright Orange
14. Where are you honeymooning?
Cancun. We'll be there for 10 days, 9 nights total
15. Favorite wedding vendor so far?
Despite having a change in plans on photographers and I was heartbroken, I still am in love with my photographer!
16. Biggest wedding splurge?
I'd have to say this is the photographer too. I never thought I'd be spending this much money on pictures, but I couldn't be more excited.
17. What is something you wish you could have at the wedding but don't?
My grandparents. The 3 that are still living are old and lots of health issues, other then that nothing
18. Another Knottie whose wedding you'd like to attend?
Oh my, there are so many of them! Definitely Brea's and Jen's (fsujen) due to us being so close in time and going through all the planning with them stride for stride. Everyone's weddings are so unique that it would really be fun to go to many of them!
19. Favorite book?
Ummm...I love the LA Candy books. I'm not a huge reader, but these I couldn't put down!
20. Favorite movie?
How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days is probably one of my all time favorites, but there are tons of movies that I love.
21. Favorite tv show?
Oh my...Two and a Half Men, 2 Broke Girls, Mike & Molly, Secret Life of the American Teenager, 90210, and starting to get into New Girl...I've become a TV junkie this fall!
22. Favorite wedding dress designer?
Don't really have one. My dress is from David's Bridal. I didn't choose to go anywhere else for two reasons...1. I'm cheap and 2. I had a HORRIBLE experience with a small boutique and working with Alfred Angelo for a BM dress that it completely ruined that type of experience for my wedding dress.
23. Any advice you can give to other Knotties whose big day is coming up?
Plan ahead and relax. Everything really sneaks up on you, but in the end it will all work out. Don't stress on those small details because in the end what is most important is that you're marrying the man of your dreams
24. Is there anything you wish you could change about your wedding?
This isn't major, but I still half way wish we could have had a planned elopement, only that wasn't an option with Brian's family. On the flip side, I'm glad to be having my two best girlfriends standing next to me on this very important day!
25. Tell us your Knottie name and how you came up with it.
It's SOOO creative, haha. It's mine and Brian's name with the date that we started dating!
26. Tell us about yourself!
I come from a small family and from the country. I'm a country girl at heart and love to be out in the middle of a field. Brian and I are high school sweethearts that moved from MD to NC in 2008 to start our life together in a different place. We have a furbaby beagle named Chesney who is spoiled rotten. We just built and moved into our beautiful home that we couldn't be more proud of. I can't wait to marry the man of my dreams on a white sandy beach with our closest friends and family to celebrate with us. This board has been my saving grace over the past 15 months and the friendships I've gotten from here will never be forgotten!
