How's everyone doing today? What do you all have on your agendas?

I've got work all day today and need to pick up a RX for my daughter. She's having major oral surgery tomorrow so I will be out of work for 3 days on FML. Can't be made at that.

Working till 5 and then I have a committee meeting tonight for my Cancer Support group. This is going to be a CRAZY busy week, SO much is going on!!!

Ugh...just found out I made an error at work.  At least its one that can be semi-easily fixed, but I HATE to make these type of errors!! (one that if I had looked more closely at, I would have caught it in time) ugh :-( So I am with you all, its a so-so Monday...with some stress to go along with it!

I worked last night til this morning, then I work again tonight. So...I should be sleeping right now! YIKES!

Except I did the right thing and re-vamped my budgeting/savings plan! With the help of the FI, of course. I feel like a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders! Now, off to bed! Goodnight, everyone...

Kimmy – Hope your daughter’s surgery goes well!

A good laugh for you all… So on Saturday we went out to dinner, and on our way back it started to pour… luckily I had my umbrella with me so we were still somewhat dry… until we got to the bridge where this cabbie came flying over and hit a huge puddle, sending a tidal wave over us. Yep. I couldn’t help but laugh because it was so ridiculous. Both of us got half-drenched, which was definitely a nice hairstyle. Luckily we were only about 10-15 minutes away from home.

 

In the process of this rainstorm, my new $9 shoes from Target (watch out, huge investment ahha) were destroyed so I’m going to swing by tonight and see if they have any left (they were on sale so fingers crossed) along with some extra tape and markers… tonight I will finish the invites!!!

Awww it's an ok Monday over here..

I'm at work now and then it's home to make dinner and work out.  I'm finishing up painting a parasol and maybe start on the bouts tonight.  Fun stuff huh!

Today we woke up to snow, yes snow in April.  We're expected to get a foot so all the school's have canceled after school stuff.  I'm leaning towards not driving the half an hour to class tonight (it's all back roads that I know won't be clean and it'll only be the second class we've missed all semester).   Anyway, I'm doing some chores around the house and then probably doing some homework.  I need to start designing our table numbers for the AHR.  Although RSVP's are due next week and I have about three, joy...

Hello all. I've been MIA between trying to not cough up a lung and breath and see. I am on my way to urgent care now to see if there is something they can give me. My mouth is literally sore from the 2 bags of cough drops the last few days, and the Nyquil, Delsym, and Sudafed, , and Alka Seltzer are not working at all. Blahhhhh!

Kimmy good luck to ur dtr Britt how was the gala Lora I'm always afraid of walking in the rain because of getting splashed by a car, at least you got a laugh out of it! Jen how is your house without the exchange student? Angela I can't believe your getting all that snow...skip class! Nicole my dtr had the flu startig last monday and still has a terrible cough I'm working an extra two hours this week, one today, because I have my lovely grand jury duty and work will only pay for 8 hrs even though I work 10 hr days. I've been here since 5:30 am. Yuck. This lady "I call her the HAS lady because she says HAS instead of AS" called off and I had to open the effing mail today. She has worked here part time forever and kept screwing up her work on purpose so she gets paid $16 per hour to open the mail. We are all pissed about that cause it's the dumbest job ever. Long story short. I had to open the mail and I hated it!

The house is back to normal!  I was able to relax and actually get stuff done... it was sooo nice.. BUT the kids miss her.
