Registry Question

So we are working on finishing up our registry and I wanted to know what you ladies put down as the event date on your registries?   I put down the date of our wedding, but realized that the AHR reception is when a lot of the family (who is also invitied to the wedding itself) will be celebrating with us.

Whaich date did you put down???

We used our wedding date.  We haven't actually schedued or started planning for our AHR yet though, so that had a lot to do with it

Wedding date.  Everyone was invited to both events.

We haven't registered yet, but the date we're sharing on our wedding web site is the AHR date. Not everyone was invited to the ceremony so I'm trying to focus a lot on the AHR with friends and extended family.

Wedding date as well, everyone is invited to both but a majority will only go to AHR.

I will most likely use our AHR date, but I have not registered yet and most people are coming to that and not the actual wedding.

I used wedding date.  I don't think many will look at that info anyway.

AHR date, when we talked to the registry consultant at Macy's she said that was the best way to do it so you'll have more time to use your completion discount. We haven't had any problems with people not being able to find it

I was planning to use our wedding date, in part because we haven't booked anything for the AHR so that date may change. But Natalie, that's a good point about the completion discount. I may have to rethink this.
