I reserved my tickets to the Dominican Republic on 12/22/11. 2 weeks ago, I was on their website just to see if prices had gone up at all in the event we needed to direct people their for extra seats. It kept giving me the message that they didn't have anything to meet my search criteria. I was glad I bought my tickets when I did, because I assumed they sold out of them. I went on other sites like cheaptickets.com to see if anything was on there...and the only ones listed had a layover and were almost double the price we locked them in at.
So today...

...I get a phone call from our travel agent who was on the other line with the agent who reserved our flights. She just happened to be looking for a flight for someone else, and noticed that CONTINENTAL CANCELLED ALL FLIGHTS DURING THE WEEK!!!! I have already sent out pricing information to all of our wedding party and confirmed guests. American Airlines doesn't have any direct flights and is more expensive, and US Airways has direct flights out of an airport about 1 1/2 hours away that are still about $200 more!
I don't even know what to do at this point.

Just needed to vent. FI isn't home, and I am just sitting here with this information. I am just so pissed that Continental didn't even inform us of the change.
