Congrats to Nicole (nicolej518) who is our next bride-to-be!! She is getting married on October 13 at Dreams in Punnta Cana! She is going to be a gorgeous bride. We can't wait to hear all about your special day!!

6. What was your major? Bachelors: Puerto Rican & Hispanic Caribbean Studies. Masters: City & Regional Planning
7. What is your current job? Back in school now to be a nurse
8. What is your dream job? To be in the medical field (hopefully once I become a nurse I will still enjoy it)
9 . How did you and your fiance' meet? In college, his best friend and I lived on the same floor. We met when he came to visit, and he transferred to Rutgers our junior year.
10. When did you get engaged, and how did he do it?? On my birthday, May 18, 2011. I was working a summer program at Rutgers and had something to do for it that night. Once I left he cooked me dinner. He had me run some errands for him since me being home earlier that day was making his surprise run late. I knew he was up to something and figures he was cooking or something. When I got home he surprised me and after we ate he told me I had to wait in the hall because he had to get my present and it was too big. He blindfolded me and I know now he was setting up the video camera. He was playing some music and got on one knee and told me to take my blindfold off. He even asked my dad beforehand!

12. Where is the ceremony and reception? Dreams Punta Cana. The ceremony will be at the gazebo and the reception at Portofino Terrace
13. What are your wedding colors? Coral and some turquoise
14. Where are you honeymooning? At Dreams. We may do something for just the two of us in a few months.
15. Favorite wedding vendor so far? Umm not too sure. It may be the photographer. We haven't had a crazy amount of contact but I haven't read a single bad review .
16. Biggest wedding splurge? Probably the b-shoot and album we got made! Other than that my dress.
17. What is something you wish you could have at the wedding but don't? Some other family and friends. And fireworks. They have them but I cannot justify spending 3000 for 5 minutes. Hopefully someone else getting married that night is loaded and will splurge!
18. Another Knottie whose wedding you'd like to attend? All of them! I want to go to Cathy's for the cheesecake, Jenn or Kimmy's because I really want to go to Hawaii...I am sure I can find a reason to want to go to anyone I could attend.
19. Favorite book? Not sure if I have an absolute favorite but I liked Flowers in the Attic by VC Andrews.
20. Favorite movie? Grease or Dirty Dancing.
21. Favorite tv show? Soooo many. No judging! Desperate housewives , Glee, Grey's, Suits, Covert Affairs, Everybody Loves Raymond, I Love Lucy
22. Favorite wedding dress designer? Never really got into them like that. Mine is Mori Lee and I obviously love it so I will go with that.
23. Any advice you can give to other Knotties whose big day is coming up? Don't get the brilliant idea to take 4 science courses to apply to nursing school the summer before your wedding! Start projects early...but not too early where you can't get a refund on things you bought and will no longer use. Enjoy your time being engaged. Ask for help so you're not freaking out the weekend before you leave! Once you've decided on something stop looking at Pinterest.....too many ideas will drive you crazy.
24. Is there anything you wish you could change about your wedding? I wish we could have afforded to find a local photographer here and have them with us for a few days so we could so additional photos throughout the trip.
25. Tell us your Knottie name and how you came up with it. It's my first name, middle initial and birthday
26. Tell us about yourself! I am a very organized person and think I have OCD when it comes to some things (why I always ask the question for AMA). I enjoy being pretty low key and hanging out with family and friends. I went to a boarding school in Ohio for high school completely by choice. I joined a sorority my freshman year in college and was heavily involved throughout my four undergraduate years. Not sure what else to say, but if there is anything you want to know just ask!
