Jewlery

Well I thought I was set on my jewlery but since I didn't order anything I am still looking and Brianne had a great website that I checked out.  I am now so confused on what to do.  Help me choose.

These were the winners on my last poll:

This is the necklace the designer of the website sent me:

She said that she would make earrings to match.
Sorry if the pic isn't big enough to really view. It distorts if I try to blow it up.

Re: Jewlery

  • I said the first set bc it screams Hawaii wedding to me, but is still simple and classy. The second one though I kinda love for myself- but won't steal it.

Are those earrings hanging down on the sides? I can't really tell from the pic. And that would be kinda great - PM it to me please. I am stuck on pearls but I think I want that for the ladies. Edit: I meant I think I want pearls for moh and bm, but something fancier thsn that for myself (since I actually wear pearls all the time).

  • I love the first one.  FI bought me a necklace that is is a single plumeria flower last time we were in Hawaii, and the first one reminds me of that.  I also love the asymetrical look to it.

  • I'm trying to PM you but idk whats going on! Ugh TK!

  • TK always is a PITA when I try to post from my phone. I felt like being chatty tonight, so I busted out the lap top.

I think the first one is perfect for an island wedding.

  • I was actually trying from my lap top. Not sure why it won't go through. I'll keep trying and if I don't get it to go through I can email.

  • I still love that first set!  I may be biased since I was looking at something similar for my bridesmaids (just less orchids for them).

  • Venus- I am going to threadjack for a second and tell you I LOVED your invitations. I didn't get a chance to post in the original thread, but dang girl they are amazing. Kudos.

    :end threadjack:

I think you are edging towards a consensus Jenn, and I got your email :)

  • Ya, I think I love the first set too. Although the lady from the other jewelry said those orchid pieces might be too dark and might not hit the sunlight well. Thoughts?

  • I can see her point because they look kinda pewter-ish, which tends to look darker in intense lighting. However I also don't like anything to jewl-y with regular lighting bc it can hit glares and make funny light shapes, ya know?

  • I got the website from Happy Maddie in another post. Her stuff is awesome. Did you see that bracelet with the shells, hot!!! The orchids are silver but do look pewterish. Idk what to do, I really like that set. Maybe I can have someone put crystals on it instead of the pearls to reflect some light.

where did you source the first set? Are they willing to customize it a bit? IF they add just a few stones to it to pick up off of the light you shouldn't have any problems with it looking too dark.

  • It was from an Etsy seller. I just sent her an email asking if she would swap out the pearls for crystals.
