Ring vent

We were supposed to pick up our rings today so I was so excited I made sure we were there as the doors opened this morning and we both go to try them on and FI could not even get his over his knuckle and I had to force mine on.  So the guys is like, Oh my, what did I do?  I was like, obvisouly you didn't size them right.  So he said he's going to fix them today and we can pick them up tomorrow.  In the meantime, I need to take my e-ring to get cleaned and polished and everything but I don't want to be without it

I would be super annoyed; it's not that hard to measure someone's finger properly!  I hope you get them soon.

Whenever I've taken my ring to be cleaned, the jewelry store does it right in front of me so I don't have to be separated from it.

Same here when I get my ring cleaned. I never part from it because they clean it right there and then.

Sorry to hear about the rings but luckily he can resize quickly.

He'll clean it the same day too but once it's all cleaned and sparkly I don't want to wear it until the wedding day so I'm going to take it in at the last possible second before we leave.

That really stinks. I would be pissed off too. Hopefully you get it tomorrow and is the right sized.

I don't blame you for being pissed! I would be too! He doesn't seem like much of a professional.
As for having your e-ring sparkly for the ceremony, I got some really good jewlery cleaner for that. It's amazing how well that stuff works. You just put it in the container, shake it up for about 30 seconds and voila! It looks just as sparkly as the day I got it

It takes them 15 minutes to polish and clean my e-ring. My FI would NEVER allow me to be without it lol.

I hate having my ring cleaned, it only takes 5 min but it's 5 min where my finger feels naked

I'm sorry to hear about that frustration! I have been without my ring since July 2nd and its not due back until July 20th (prongs need to be reset and its being cleaned as well). I have been wearing my grandmothers wedding band (that was passed down to me) but I really miss MY ring! I know the feeling though during the whole sizing phase it took them two attempts to get it right! =/
