Hello Ladies,

I just wanted to formally introduce myself after stalking this board for a couple months now. I am Carly and my Fiance and I have finally decided on a destination wedding in Destin, FL after much consideration. This was the best decision for us! We wanted to go out of the country but with a small neice and nephew it made it hard, so we decided Destin, because his family has always vacationed there. We aren't getting married until next July 15 though. I just graduated college and he just made a career change that moved us from Columbus, Ohio to Lansing, Michigan.

I look forward to getting to know you all and also getting help throughout the planning process. Also, good luck and safe traveling to all you soon to be wives!

I totally agree, I started out on another site and everyone was just really cliquey and not very honest either. Love the girls on the Knot!

Destin is definitely getting its fair share of attention these days. You can check out the DW Brides bio - it breaks people down by location and you can click on most of the links to bring you straight to planning bios. Maybe it will help you with ideas for vendors and such. www.dwbridesbio.com
