Hi guys,
Me and FI are getting married in DR on December 1, 2011. We are thinking about having an AHR for everyone we want to be there but can't make it down south. Everyone will be invited to both events.
My question is this: we want to have the AHR on Jan 14, 2012 since everyone is so busy for the Christmas and New Years season. I know you're supposed to have the AHR as close to the wedding as possible, but is the Christmas season a valid excuse to push it back?
