Vent: NWR & WR

I just need to vent and destress. Thanks if you actually read this.

NWR: I don't have a car right now so I borrowed one to go do some errands this evening. FI has lease day on Tuesday so he's always super late and I thought it would be good. So I get a freaking flat tire. I call my friend. She's like oh my spare is on the truck but that tire I put fix a flat in is under the truck. I'm like seriously? WTF? I was freaked out. I managed to get the tire from under the truck and guess what? IT WAS FLAT TOO!!! It had a nail hole and the valve was missing. Evidently when then tire guy put it back under he took the valve.
Thank goodness FI is working at a cab company right now. He got me a tow from a buddy and his mechanic fixed her tire and changed it. It was still a lengthy evening though. I felt so bad!

WR: I noticed my e-ring band was getting kind of rough lately. I thought it was just dirty so I was trying to clean it today and I realized it's almost like a layer is coming off. I showed FMIL and she said it looks like my ring was just plated and now the plating is coming off. FI is livid because he was sold a platinum band...not a platinum dipped band. Now I need to see about getting my ring fixed in addition to trying to find a wedding band. UGH

*Edit* FI just got home and I got the dish. The jeweler is a family friend so FFIL called and talked to him. Apparently we had a major mix up. FI took in an older setting to have it cast and made in platinum. The jewelry misunderstood and just dipped the setting in platinum and put new stones in. I asked FI weren't you confused when you never got the old setting back and he just stared at me as if the wheels never turned until tonight. BOYS! I'm going to call tomorrow and see if he can dip the band part again for me. Maybe I can pick a band out too.
