Good Morning, Ladies!

How is everyone's Friday going so far? I am so glad it's Friday! I'm really looking forward to having this weekend off and working on the house. We are going out to dinner tonight and to pick up a new towel bar and towel ring for our Jack n Jill bathroom. I have work all day, but will get off an hour early. Can't be mad at that!

We also have a holiday party on Saturday.  I wasn't looking forward to any of the holiday parties starting, but now I am. What plan do you ladies have this weekend?

Bah, Friday is not starting well for me! I lost my blackberry, work is UBER busy, and I feel blah still... can't wait until 7 when it ends and I can head home for the weekend!!!

I just spent $100 of money that I didn't want to spend at the big mall here in Philly, but I got two pair of pants for work, a sweater, three going out shirts, and a sports bra. Not too bad! I'm waiting for FI to return from drill. We will prob nap and then meeting up with my bf from high school and her husband since she lives here. I can't wait to see them! Kimmy~have fun at your party! I’m not sure what we’re up to tonight, just texted FI to find out haha. We’ll probably stay in and eat at home since we have some friends in town this weekend will go out with them tomorrow night. I have a long run in the AM so no complaints for a chill night. I also have to get started on my Christmas cards this weekend.

 

Plus, you know that afghan I was talking about yesterday? It would be nice to stay home to try and finish it up! I have it about one-third of the way assembled so hopefully this weekend I’ll finally be finished with it. Ready for a new project!

Sounds like all of you have some shopping to do this weekend!  I hate to hear about your blackberry, I coudn't imagine what I would do without my droid.  I would feel naked, haha!

Tonight we are making homemade chicken pot pies and going to switch our bank accounts to both of our names .  Tomorrow we are having a family get together to start celebrating the holidays and then going to the Christmas Festival in Kannapolis, NC to watch the fireworks.  Possibly going to Charlotte Motor Speedway tomorrow night to drive through the lights there as well.  Looks like Sunday will be our day of rest.

Oh and Monday I START MY NEW JOB ,  I can't wait!

My Friday started off so calm and peaceful then got all crazy!!

So tomorrow we are flying to Orlando.  Yesterday I forgot.  I actually forgot that we are going on this little trip with his parents!?!? How could I forget?  I love going on trips, but I think since I've been fighting this cold I've been a little foggy and I fell asleep so early last night.  J's mom works for Alaska Airlines, she checks people and she's getting us standby tickets and they got the timeshare so that's the only way we were able to do this during this time. 
I'm excited about it, it's just different for me because usually I plan when we leave, where we stay, all that stuff but this time I'm just going with it so maybe that's why I forgot.  Yesterday I had to ask J what time we leave in the morning and specifics because I really didn't know!  First trip with the in-laws, I hope it goes well

Also, I forgot to tell you, I liked Rum Diary.  I know some didn't because they said it was slow.  Ummm, it's a movie about a writer, not Robocop. Anyway, I really liked it and it made FI and I want to go there so bad! We now have it on our vacation list!

Why are some people so out of it? Seriously, I look at some of the people I talk to at work and I wonder how they function in their day to day lives lol
Sorry, that sounds harsh and judgemental... but it kinda is... lol

I'm glad you liked it I really do want to see it we just haven't been to the movies in a while.  I think the last movie we saw in the theaters was Moneyball which I really loved especially because it's Brad Pitt.

We don't usually go to the movies either, but we hit the second run theater twice last week.  We were feeling crazy!

Umm, I so wish I could go in March! Is you wedding at an all inclusive?
