Hey Ladies! Ok so we're planning a beach wedding in FL with about 50 people. The thing is, my mom has about 12 brothers and sisters, most married (which means about 24 people), but I'm only close with about 3 of them. The others i've only met a few times, or haven't seen them in a VERY long time (like 6 years or more). We are planning a welcome back party when we return from our honeymoon at my parents house. Would it be impolite to only invite the aunts I am closest with to the actual destination wedding, and then invite the others to the welcome back reception when we return?
Please let me know what you think. I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, but we simply can't afford a destination wedding with 100+ people!
