6. What was your major? Mechanical Engineering
7. What is your current job? Research in explosives and ballistics
8. What is your dream job? With my major, I think I have it. If I were to do something totally different, it would probably be something artistic.
9. How did you and your fiance' meet? At a 'Pimps and Hoes' 21st birthday party. Klassy, right?!? We didn't start dating till we met again a year and a half later in astronomy class.
10. When did you get engaged, and how did he do it?? February 16th, 2011. I had just gotten out of class when he called me and asked if I wanted to go to dinner somewhere. He also told me that my package of fabric that I had been looking forward to came in and asked if he could open it. I told him no, then he told me the package was damaged during shipping. When I got home, I handed the package to him and told him to open it because I had felt very selfish telling him no. He pulled the ring out of the fabric then got down on one knee. He said he was planning to propose at dinner, but after he had asked about the package he improvised and said it was damaged so he could stick the ring in there. It sounds weird, but it was just one of those things where you just had to be there.

12. Where is the ceremony and reception? aboard the Carnival Magic in Galveston
13. What are your wedding colors? Navy, light blue and champagne
14. Where are you honeymooning? Jamaica, Cozumel and Grand Cayman, although we will probably go on another trip in September to Ireland and France which we will call our real honeymoon.
15. Favorite wedding vendor so far? Probably our photographer. I haven't really dealt with any vendors.
16. Biggest wedding splurge? Our photographer
17. What is something you wish you could have at the wedding but don't? I think I'm pretty happy with how things are. I have everything that was important to me.
18. Another Knottie whose wedding you'd like to attend? Britt or Kimmy's. I think Britt's will be a blast to hang out at and I can't wait to see how all of Kimmy's comes together.
19. Favorite book? Haven't had much time to read lately. The Hunger Games was pretty good though.
20. Favorite movie? Juno
21. Favorite tv show? The British version of Sherlock. There are two episodes on Netflix and I can't wait till they get more. Others that I really like are Monk, Charmed, and SVU
22. Favorite wedding dress designer? probably Maggie
23. Any advice you can give to other Knotties whose big day is coming up? Just relax and enjoy it. The little details don't matter in the grand scheme of things.
24. Is there anything you wish you could change about your wedding? I would have the wedding in Cayman rather than on a cruise. The reason we didn't do that was so my mom would be there. I would also like to change which rooms we are in for the ceremony and reception. They don't tell you till two weeks before the wedding and they weren't what I was hoping they would be.
25. Tell us your Knottie name and how you came up with it. My FI's nickname for me is NikNik and my birthday is on the 15
26. Tell us about yourself! Hobbies include anything artistic and playing disc golf. Once I start watching a movie or show, I can't stop watching it. It drives my FI crazy. I don't really even care about the show, but I have to watch it in it's entirety. I am definitely a foodie. I love ice cream, potatoes and cilantro (not together of course). I hate bbq sauce, pinapple and ham pizza, and anything else that is sweet with meat. My stomach has made really weird noises when I'm hungry ever since I got my appendix taken out. It feels like a baby is kicking. It's my party trick. I have a 6 year old dog named Gabby. She is my baby and I think she is the greatest dog in the world. I am partial, but she is pretty awesome!
